Summer holiday in the Walserberg ...
Just perfect for mountaineers, walkers, fresh air fanatics or families who love sharing time together in the Great Outdoors.
More informationAt an altitude of over 1,400 metres above sea level, Warth is the place where the Bregenzerwald, the Hochtannberg and the Lech Valley all meet. Here, in the mountains at the north westerly foot of the Arlberg massiv, the magical power of nature has remained undiminished, even today. A holiday in the mountains here is still as it should be: close to nature and rooted in local tradition. And there is a plethora of outdoor activities to experience and enjoy.
The little Walser village of Warth has less than 200 inhabitants. Thanks to its elevated location, the Warth-Schröcken region comprises a panoramic village settlement which really offers a new perspective on life. And – as anyone who has been here can tell you - a holiday spent here will not be easily forgotten.
In summer Mother Nature really looks her best. The lush green dew-covered alpine meadows are carpeted with wild flowers, and the mountain summits offer not only stupendous views but also revitalising fresh air you need to recharge your batteries. You can almost feel the mountains breathing all around you. Here in the mountains deep breathing and fresh air is key: on walks, whilst hiking to the highest peak or when enjoying the thrill of mountaineering. Good fresh air is not only the engine which drives our bodies and helps them function, but it also supplies the energy and strength we need to live. You have to be able to „ussi Schnufa“, as we always say - to get your breath back. Reward your lungs with some of the purest mountain air in the Alps.
