Walking on the Arlberg

Criss-crossing the lush green alpine countryside, our network of footpaths will introduce you to all sorts of fabulous places. We thoroughly recommend the circuit around the Kalbele Lake and on to the Körber Lake (voted the most beautiful spot in Austria in 2017), or some of the sunny walks near the Dorfbahn cable car, just around the corner from the hotel.

Guided walks and mountain tours

The Tourist Office organises weekly guided hiking tours to the some of the most popular alpine destinations, plus walks to a selection of beauty spots, all accompanied by local mountain and walking guides.

The Lech Trail

125 km in length from source to falls, this is a medium grade long distance footpath encompassing five regions and two countries. The hotel is located directly on this trail, and is a Lech Trail Partner Company.

The Körber Lake – a natural jewel

Located in the heart of a botanical nature reserve and surrounded by imposing mountains, this idyllic lake is the perfect place to find peace and relaxation. In October 2017 this natural jewel was voted the most beautiful spot in Austria by ORF 2 television‘s Live-Abendshow „9 Plätze – 9 Schätze“.

Lech Golf Course

Enjoy a round of golf on Lech Golf Course – either with friends or alone. The 9-hole course is located in the hamlet of Zug in the idyllic Zuger Valley, approximately 10 km or 15 minutes‘ drive by car from Warth.
