Our Walserberg is a family affair. How it all started

Irene and Thomas Walch made the Walserberg what it is today. The next generation is already playing its part. Simon is our host in the 3rd generation. With his wife Michelle, the two are a well-rehearsed team. Together with our staff, we bundle all our ideas, our passion and our enthusiasm in front of and behind the scenes, because you are our guests.

For this we say THANK YOU and wish you lots of fun in our gourmet hotel on the Arlberg.

Life’s good when you enjoy your job!

Since 1964 the Hotel Walserberg has offered direct access to skiing and mountain activities. Our history began with the bakery, which our grandfather Vinzenz Walch opened in Warth over 50 years ago. Today, many years later, we still enjoy baking fresh daily bread for our guests. But this is by no means all. In our family-run 4-star hotel we are totally committed to ensuring an enjoyable and unforgettable holiday for our guests.
Over the years each family member has found his or her own niche in the business. Junior chef Simon is dedicated to the culinary side of things and heads up the kitchen team. His wife Michelle manages the hotel's reception and service team. Brother Martin is the master baker who runs the Lech and Warth bakery. And parents Thomas and Irene are always on hand when needed to help the younger generation with advice and active support.

Milestones in the family business

Just like good bread dough, a successful business needs time to mature. Over the years we have invested a lot of steady hard work and dedication to attain our present family-run 4-star hotel.
